Getting
to the Landmark:
Following below are the directions provided by the Landmark. Also,
note that there is an alternate, more scenic route you can take
from Sturgeon Bay to Egg Harbor. It follows the water and takes
about 10 extra minutes. As you approach Sturgeon Bay on 42/57,
take the exit to the right that says “Business District.”
After you cross the old bridge, take the second left onto 1st
Ave. Then take the 3rd left onto 3rd Ave. This becomes Bay Shore
Drive/Hwy. B, and you follow this all the way up the shore. You’ll
hit one stop sign—stay left onto Hwy. G. When you hit the
next stop sign, take a sharp right up the steep hill onto Hillside
Road. The Landmark is just ahead on the right.
By
Air:
The
closest airport to Door Co. is Green Bay. From there, it's about
a 1-hour, 15-minute drive to Egg Harbor. You could also fly into
Madison (approximately 3 1/2 hour drive to Egg Harbor) or Milwaukee
(about 3 hours to Egg Harbor).
Austin
Straubel Airport (Green Bay) —70 Miles
Take 172 East to I-43 North and take the 54/57 exit (Sturgeon
Bay). Highway 57 will merge with Highway 42 near Sturgeon Bay.
Bypass Sturgeon Bay staying on Highway 42. Approximately 12 miles
north of Sturgeon Bay, you will see a large stone Landmark sign.
Turn left just before the sign on Hillside Road.
Chicago
—250 Miles
Take I-94 to Milwaukee. In downtown Milwaukee you merge with I-43
and take I-43 to Green Bay. In Green Bay take the 54/57 exit (Sturgeon
Bay). Highway 57 will merge with Highway 42 near Sturgeon Bay.
Bypass Sturgeon Bay staying on Highway 42. Approximately 12 miles
north of Sturgeon Bay, you will see a large stone Landmark sign.
Turn left just before the sign on Hillside Road.

Madison
—200 miles
Take 151 North (East Washington) to 26 North (Waupun) to 41 North,
stay on 41 North until Green Bay. Take 172 East to I-43 North
and take the 54/57 exit (Sturgeon Bay). Highway 57 will merge
with highway 42 near Sturgeon Bay. Bypass Sturgeon Bay staying
on Highway 42. Approximately 12 miles north of Sturgeon Bay, you
will see a large stone Landmark sign. Turn left just before the
sign on Hillside Road.
Milwaukee
—175 Miles
Take I-43 to Green Bay. In Green Bay take the 54/57 exit (Sturgeon
Bay). Highway 57 will merge with Highway 42 near Sturgeon Bay.

north of Sturgeon Bay, you will see a large stone Landmark sign.
Turn left just before the sign on Hillside Road.

Minneapolis/St.
Paul —330 Miles
Take I-94 East to Highway 29 (Just beyond Menomonie, WI). Highway
29 will take you to Green Bay. Take Highway 41 North to I-43 South,
then take the Highway 54/57 Exit #185 (Sturgeon Bay). Highway
57 will merge with Highway 42 near Sturgeon Bay. Bypass Sturgeon
Bay staying on highway 42. Approximately 12 miles north of Sturgeon
Bay, you will see a large stone Landmark sign. Turn left just
before the sign on Hillside Road.

the Landmark to the church (the church will be at 4 pm):
This takes approx. 15-20 minutes.
- Go
left out of the Landmark parking lot
- At
the stop sign, turn right onto Hwy. G
- Turn
left onto Hwy. 42
- Turn
right onto Hwy. E (right after Trio restaurant). There is one
jog in the road as you cross the peninsula—follow the sign
to turn left for Hwy. E.
- Hwy.
E ends. Turn left onto Hwy. 57. Immanuel Lutheran is about .9
miles ahead on the left. Parking is on the street.
The
reception (the bar opens at 5:30 pm, dinner will be at 6:30):
The reception is back at the Landmark in the Egg Harbor Room.
(Follow the signs for the restaurant; the Egg Harbor Room is in
the lower level of the restaurant building.)
